Gossip & Blind ItemsWe really want to get back into doing Blind Items and possibly a Gossip blog again down the road. But we need you to help us out by submitting rumors, stories, lies, any and all bits of gossip. You can be as detailed and as vague as you like. We just cannot express how much we need you to submit stuff for us so we have something to work with. We will be doing Blind Items on a temporary basis and if they work out again, we will consider doing Gossip again. We would like at least three items to work with before we post anything. To hopefully clear up any confusion, here are some things to think about when you are submitting gossip:
ic/ooc: This is always the biggest question people have, are you supposed to submit them in character or out of character? When you're leaving gossip for us, think about this, is it something that a bystander could have witnessed and reported to a gossip blog? Is it something a less than trustworthy person, such as an assistant or crew member, could know? If you answered yes to either, you should submit. Gossip submissions are neither ic or ooc, they're kind of a weird third party, where you have to put yourself in the shoes of the person submitting the gossip in the first place.
content of submissions: You don't need to leave us anything fancy, a simple statement could work. We don't mind writing creatively, we just need something to get us stated. Leaving "these two people hooked up at this award show" is pretty much perfect. For blind items, you don't even need to leave names, since they won't be mentioned in the items anyway. Saying "actor/producer/musician" is just fine, we can work with that, we only need help with the ideas.
who you should submit about: Anyone! Anonymous is turned on, so you can leave us tips about your own character, and we would honestly be none the wiser. You may also leave information about other characters, but we're trusting that you'll have checked with the other writers involved to make sure it's okay. We love hearing about hook ups, break ups, fights, etc. so any of that would be perfect for you to submit about pretty much anyone. Can you make things up? Sure! The purpose of blind items isn't to tell the truth, it's to make everyone wonder, so if you have some juicy ideas, give us a tip!

SECRETS SUBMISSIONSSecrets are posted every other Monday. Please make your secrets and submit them here. We request that they be less than 600x600 pixels and are uploaded to a site that cannot be tracked to you; Imgur, tinypic, etc. We also accept text secrets, If it seems like the secret is going over the line, we reserve the right to keep it out. We need 20-30 secrets in order to post. Secrets are typically posted at 10pm EST.
